From July 15 to 16, the Mid-year Registration and R&D Summary Conference of Orient Gene was held in Longemont Resort Hotel, Huzhou. The personnel engaged in R&D, registration, etc. of Orient Gene and its subsidiaries attended the conference.

Fang Xiaoliang, General Manager affirmed the company’s achievements in R&D and registration since the outbreak of COVID-19, which provided a solid guarantee for the company’s performance improvement in 2020 and in the first half of 2021. At the conference, it was pointed out that the full synergy between R&D and registration is the driving force of the company’s development and the key to achieving sales orders. However, while achieving good results, we should also be prepared for danger in times of safety. On the basis of ensuring the implementation of orders against COVID-19, the R&D department should accelerate the transformation of the results of new products in a market-oriented manner; In response to the implementation of future registration policy changes, R&D also needs to actively cooperate with the implementation of new registration rules.

During the two-day conference, full exchange and communication were carried out in the form of report made by R&D and registration personnel and group discussion, and the two departments discussed and formulated a more perfect cooperation mechanism for the promotion of the next key projects, and laid a keynote for the work in the second half of the year.

At the conference, it was stressed that in the second half of the year, we should continue to focus on the main business of POCT real-time diagnostic reagents, vigorously develop molecular diagnosis and liquid chip platforms, increase R&D investment, give full play to team cooperation ability, and strive to promote part of the products under R&D to the registration stage. The R&D department should implement project registration as the “top leadership project”, which should be guided by the market demand, and achieve registration as the result, so as to input continuous power to realize the company’s continuous technological innovation.
